The Formax FD2052IL Pressure Seal System allows
operators to print, fold and seal
pressure-sensitive one-piece mailers in one
step, reducing processing times while increasing
document security and confidentiality. The
FD2052IL System enables a modified version of
the fully automatic
FD2052 desktop folder/sealer to work
in-line with model-specific MICR and Non-MICR
desktop laser printers. Designed with ease of
operation and efficiency in mind, the FD2052IL
is the solution of choice for pressure seal
users who have multiple applications and
frequently switch between paper sizes and fold
patterns, and who are looking to reduce
processing times by streamlining the printing,
folding and sealing their documents. Because
the FD2052IL enables the printing, folding and
sealing of documents to be performed in-line,
the process of transferring unsealed documents
from the printer to the folder/sealer is
completely eliminated, thus maximizing document
confidentiality and protecting sensitive
information from unauthorized or unwanted
viewing. The Formax FD2052IL comes
pre-programmed for the three most popular
pressure seal fold patterns in both 11” and 14”
paper sizes: the C-Fold (letter fold); the
Z-Fold (zig-zag or accordion fold); and the
V-Fold (half-fold). The FD2052IL system also
has the ability to store up to 9 custom fold
settings with the simple touch of a button,
making it simple for operators to switch from
one application to the next with no time
consuming manual adjustments. The FD2052IL can
process up to 125,000 pressure seal forms per
month, and with speeds of up to 11,000 forms per
hour, the FD2052IL can keep pace with any laser
printer that it is used in conjunction with.
The FD2052IL System is also available in a
cost-saving package, the
P2052IL, which includes a rugged,
locking cabinet stand and an 18” output conveyor
to further simplify pressure seal forms
processing. |

The FD 2052IL sets a new standard as the
first heavy-duty tabletop pressure sealer capable of running
in-line with laser printers. The FD 2052IL is capable of
processing up to 125,000 forms per month in a compact and powerful
design. The user-friendly control panel features LED indicators
and a six-digit resettable counter.

The AutoSeal® FD 2052IL System, combined with a laser printer and
pressure seal forms, creates a secure, timesaving and efficient
solution for paper processing.
Ease of Operation
AutoSeal® IL Systems
are installed with ease. An IL-compatible desktop laser printer*
is placed on the IL-Alignment Base with the FD 2052IL pressure
sealer using our unique placement guides to ensure proper
alignment. The IL-Alignment Base incorporates an easy-pull roller
system which allows the printer to be pulled away from the FD
2052IL to provide convenient access to the paper path and fold
plates. |
