Andy Heath at
Capital City Partners had good and bad news for
his CEO. The good news was that the high
returns of the Energy Investment Funds his
company offers were attracting hundreds of new
investors. The bad news was that printing and
distributing the growing number of
checks each month was becoming more and more
cumbersome. He needed an affordable
solution…..fast.
After a few
different Google searches, he found that
Relyco’s web page kept coming up. He picked up
the phone and soon was speaking to Roger Bishop.
“When Andy
started to explain their issues to me,” Bishop
said, “I knew right away that we could help them
out. Their investor information for the checks
each month is stored in Excel, and with a file
created from that we could take care of the
rest.”
Relyco
proposed that he import the file into their
TCWS check printing software, print it onto
Pressure Seal self mailer forms using a
secure, high-speed
Troy MICR printer, and then seal the checks
using a
Formax Pressure Seal machine. It seemed
like a lot to swallow at first, but after
understanding the ease and speed of the process,
and seeing how quickly the new system would pay
for itself, Andy was sold.
“We just
click a button, select a file, and the checks
print,” says Heath. “Then we load the
checks into the
pressure sealer, and within a minute all the
checks are ready to go. It’s so fast and
easy that we can now concentrate once again on
doing what we do best. Plus, the
software allows us to easily add our new
funds. We can make a copy of an existing
account, change the fund name and bank account
info, and then just import our new file.”
Heath
believes the investment into the system has paid
off in many ways.
“In our business people are
