IPS Business Development Representative (Payment Software Solutions)

Relyco has expanded its suite of electronic payment solutions and is looking for a positive, motivated, and forward thinking business development representative to join our team!

As a Relyco business development representative, you will be responsible for positioning Relyco’s cloud-based accounts payable automation solutions to various types of contacts within an organization, including AP managers, finance directors, controllers and C-level executives.

 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

You will be cold calling, calling into existing accounts and using inbound marketing tools and best practices to nurture and qualify inbound web leads to create opportunities for the inside sales team that will help Relyco exceed sales goals and objectives. This is a marketing and sales hybrid role.


Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Becoming an accounts payable automation expert
  • Proactively prospecting for sales leads with the intent to generate net-new business opportunities for the inside sales team
  • Creating email marketing sequences to generate opportunities
  • Further qualify inbound inquiries
  • Scheduling demos and web presentations
  • Making over 80 outbound calls a day
  • Capturing lead details and marketing intelligence for internal purposes

Our ideal candidate:

  • Ability to generate and qualify sales leads through inbound/outbound calling/email
  • Ability to identify decision makers and customer’s needs while positioning features, benefits, and value
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to learn the financial technology industry – good technical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Working experience of a CRM software is required
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and platforms
  • Knowledge of financial technology a plus, but not mandatory

Business Development Representative

We are currently hiring for the position of Business Development Representative to help grow and expand our business. As a Relyco Business Development Representative, you will play an important role in enabling the inside sales team to exceed their goals and objectives. In this role you will prospect via cold calling/email and generate sales leads and appointments for the inside sales team. Additionally, the Business Development Representative will be tasked with further qualifying opportunities generated from internal marketing initiatives and web leads.

The Business Development Representative will be positioning printing and payment solutions to various types of contacts within an organization, from a small business owner, Purchasing Managers, AP contacts, and C-level Executives. While having experience in the print industry is a plus, it is not mandatory. The ability to learn quickly and have a good technical aptitude is critical.

We are looking for someone with a competitive spirit, who is a self-starter with a positive attitude and has a desire to succeed. This role is a stepping-stone to our inside sales team with excellent earning potential and opportunities for advancement. The intent for any Business Development Representative who continuously exceeds their goals and objectives, is for them to be transitioned them to the inside sales team.

Account Executive

Relyco is currently hiring for the position of Account Executive to help grow and expand our business. The individual should be a motivated self-starter, fast learner, and have good verbal and written communication skills in a sales situation. Experience prospecting and closing net-new business is essential; print industry knowledge is a plus. Additional knowledge in other print technologies, substrates and applications including laser, digital, inkjet and wide format printing is an added bonus. This position also offers a great base salary and generous commission structure. We offer on-going training for product knowledge and sales skills, which is a key element to providing outstanding customer assistance and for closing sales.

 

Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):

  • Opportunity hunting and sales development skills
  • Ability to follow-up on leads and make outbound calls daily
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of product cross-selling, up selling and add-on sales
  • Experience managing and growing print/substrate business within large accounts
  • Able to lead and manage customer service to meet customer requirements and solve challenges
  • Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and give them the best possible service.
  • Working experience with Salesforce.com CRM software is helpful but not essential

Duties:

  • Proactively prospect for net-new business by telephone, in person sales calls and tradeshows
  • Initiate communication with existing customers for reorders and cross-sell opportunities and respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests in a timely manner
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant customer and print application information to process product inquiries
  • Perform customer/lead verifications
  • Direct requests, issues, growth business leads and any issues to the designated resource
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions within salesforce.com CRM system

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales hunter mentality with the ability to quickly learn the products/services within the print industry; prior experience in the print industry is preferred but not imperative.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, general education degree or equivalent
  • General Windows-based software support and customer service experience
  • PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM is preferred but not essential
