What is Variable Data Printing?

Variable-data printing (VDP) (also known as variable-information printing (VIP) or VI) is a form of digital printing, including on-demand printing, in which elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next, without stopping or slowing down the printing process and using information from a database or external file. For example, a set of personalized letters, each with the same basic layout, can be printed with a different name and address on each letter. Variable data printing is mainly used for direct marketing, customer relationship management, advertising, invoicing and applying addressing on self mailers, brochures or postcard campaigns.

DigiPOP substrate templates are for direct mail, presentations, corporate gifts, special events, fundraising – you name it. 	Relyco Megaphone (CP-114) The Application A small NH based print shop that does business with the University of New Hampshire Athletics Department worked with Relyco to create a megaphone that pops and makes money.
	Relyco Golf Ball Sleeves (CP-002) The Application A company holding a charity golf tournament for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.Each DigiPOP golf ball Sleeve was printed with the sponsor logos, golf course and players’ names.
	Relyco 2.5" x 2.5" Gift Box (CP-090) The Application DigiPOP 2.5” gift boxes were recently used by a philanthropy committee in Dover, NH that hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner for area residents who might not otherwise enjoy a traditional holiday meal.

	DigiPOP-Up Heart Card (CP-017) The Application This application is for flower shop that wanted to add more POP to its flower deliveries for Valentine’s Day – When placing a flower order for Valentine’s Day, customers have the option to choose this card. They can then submit a photo and personal message that will be printed on the cards and included with the flower delivery. What a great idea!
	DigiPOP 4x4" Cube Box (CP-001) The Application A local hospital in New Hampshire created a great “get healthy” campaign that was part of a fund raising golf tournament for breast cancer awareness month. The box was personalized for people playing in the tournament and contained an apple snack. The design was added along with personalization, which resulted in a piece that we know will be remembered.
	DigiPOP Invite Mailer (CP-013) The Application Recently a restaurant in Denver, Colorado held a special New Years Eve dinner and party for loyal customers and public dignitaries. To invite people, it needed a simple invitation that would pop.A great design was applied to the fold up mailer and it was ready to go in the mail with each piece variably printed with the person’s name and address.
	DigiPOPcorn Bowl (CP-021) The Application A Boston area hospital is using the DigiPOPcorn Treat Bowl to help brighten the spirits of its young patients. On certain days of the week, the hospital offers the kids popcorn in their own whimsical personalized popcorn bowls. Each one has a unique design and the child’s name on the bowl. The smiles the staff gets from the kids when delivering this treat in their own personalized bowls is priceless.
	DigiPOP Tent Card (CP-022) The Application A Boston, Massachusetts’s area restaurant is using the DigiPOP 4-Sided Tent Card to promote weekly samples and its ever-changing draft beer list. With DigiPOP tent cards the specials and beer list are updated so customers can easily make their choices. Plus, they are more affordable and easier to print.
	DigiPOP Add-A-Pocket Folder (CP-076) The Application Marriott Resorts Vacation Club wanted to create a more personal experience for their vacation club members across the entire membership process…from initial sign up all the way through to each guest’s stay. This is a great piece that Marriott is sending their vacation club members prior to their stay to help ensure their vacation exceeds member expectations.
	DigiPOP Thumb Drive Mailer (CP-010) The Application Relyco is using DigiPOP (CP-010) to send out its FLEXCHEK check writing and signing software. Relyco decided to use its own product to deliver its FLEXCHEK software to its customer because of the unique presentation and available print space on the DigiPOP thumb drive mailer to provide important install and product information.
	DigiPOP Flower Top Box (CP-096) The Application The Green Maids used the flower top box as a new business generator… dropping them off at corporate offices and offering them to interested people at local events.
