As If Paying Wasn't Bad Enough....
This year, not only will your company be
required to file and pay taxes to the Federal Government, but you may also
need to update your software in order to do it. Changes have been made to
all W-2 forms, moving the Social Security Number (SSN) from the middle of
the form to the top. |

In one sense, the change is a positive one in that it will eliminate the possibility of anyone seeing the SSN through the envelope’s window. However, moving the SSN field does require that the forms be printed differently, and in many cases, this may necessitate a programming change. Here at Relyco, we are doing our best to make all of our clients aware of this possibility, so that nobody is caught unaware and forced to make difficult changes at the last minute.
