Rochester Institute of Technology qualifies REVLAR as approved Kodak substrate
Relyco announced that its REVLAR waterproof paper was recently certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Printing Applications Laboratory as a qualified substrate for use on Kodak NexPress Digital Production Color Presses.
RIT tested Relyco’s REVLAR 4.7 mil waterproof paper by conducting a number of evaluations to determine the optimum engine dependent settings. Selection criteria for the different settings are based upon: DryInk adhesion, color density, overall image quality, sufficient discharging, and no artifacts such as excessive curl or blistering. RIT found that REVLAR functioned as expected under these evaluation conditions and qualified it for the Kodak NexPress 2100 Plus through the Kodak NexPress SE3600 platforms.

Leading provider of business printing solutions attracts media attention
MarketRX/Cognizant Realizes Measurable Return on Investment, Lower Costs from ULTRASEAL Self-Mailer Forms and Custom Checks
As part of the comprehensive market research services it provides to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, MarketRx/Cognizant conducts periodic physician surveys. The survey process begins with a written invitation sent to physicians at their offices or home addresses. When survey response rates began to decline, the team at MarketRx/Cognizant grew concerned that the quality of the invitations sent to physicians was preventing them from considering participating in the surveys.
The team researched a number of alternative vendors, and discovered Relyco. “We had become very dissatisfied with the paper provided by our previous vendor,” explains Keiron Guischard, Senior Analyst at MarketRx/Cognizant. “The pressure seal paper Relyco provided for our invitations was of far better quality and, surprisingly, was even more cost-effective. When we distributed invitations using the Relyco paper, our response rate returned to expected levels and we were able to realize a greater return on investment.”
Today, MarketRx/Cognizant also uses Relyco check stock as part of the same initiative. In this case, the company turned to Relyco when the checks provided by their existing vendor became cost prohibitive. Relyco was able to print checks to the companies’ exact specifications, which were superior to their previous solution as well as more cost-effective.
