Waterproof Synthetic Paper
See how REVLAR Waterproof Synthetic Paper works
Why waterproof paper?
Whenever printed materials will be subject to frequent handling, wet surroundings or extreme environmental conditions, waterproof paper is the best option. It holds up better than standard paper because it’s a synthetic paper that is made of plastic, yet it has the appearance, smoothness and printability of paper.
REVLAR paper is waterproof, tear-proof, durable, impervious to grease and chemicals, weatherproof and specifically designed to withstand high/low temperature fluctuations. It is an extremely tough product; some have even called it “virtually indestructible” after running it through various durability tests. Yet, it can still be scored, punched or die-cut, which makes it versatile.
REVLAR can also be used safely around food; it has been FDA approved as a food contact substance (FCS).
Durable, washable and printable
REVLAR waterproof synthetic paper is so durable that even complete and lengthy submersion in liquid has no effect. Because of this tolerance for water, it’s easy to clean! If REVLAR gets dirtied, you can just wipe it down with a wet cloth or use a mild cleanser.
Printing on REVLAR is a simple one-step process. Just run it through a dry toner laser printer like you would with standard copy paper. When you use waterproof synthetic paper, you eliminate the need for a multi-step waterproofing process like lamination, which is costly and time-consuming.
Let’s get down to the nitty gritty:

REVLAR was innovative and creative. It was also weather resistant and durable enough to withstand use around the pool and in the club; plus it was affordable enough to align with the client’s budget. Importantly, as the vendor who would produce the ‘Green Valley Cash,’ we appreciated that REVLAR was available in a range of thicknesses, colors, and finishes and could hold ink with traditional or digital printing.Read More- Leigh Lieman PR Marketing Director, Miller's Minuteman Press
