When we describe REIMAGE carbonless laser paper as an “environmentally-friendly” solution on datasheets and product descriptions, what do we mean exactly? This blog will explain our assertion in more depth!
REIMAGE carbonless laser paper
The purpose of carbonless laser paper is to transfer writing through sheets of paper. This is achieved through a special coating on the paper. The coating is released through tiny capsules when pressure from a pen bursts them.
Carbonless paper is often used for forms, invoices, purchase orders, delivery forms, contracts or receipts. The transfer of writing eliminates the need for duplication, which is time-consuming. Like any pre-printed form, the downside is the waste created if bulk-purchased forms become obsolete. REIMAGE solves this problem.
Producing less waste with REIMAGE
REIMAGE carbonless laser paper empowers businesses to create and print their own multi-part forms. With the ability to customize and print only the forms you need, when you need them, you have greater control; eliminating pre-printed forms allows you to keep a tighter rein on your costs and the amount of waste you produce.
SFI certified sourcing & country of origin
REIMAGE is made in the United States. It meets the Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s (SFI) prestigious certified sourcing standard.
The Sustainable Forestry Initiative is an independent, non-profit organization. SFI is considered one of the leaders in sustainable forestry certification standards. According to SFI, “we collaborate with our diverse network to provide solutions to local and global sustainability challenges. SFI works with the forest sector, brand owners, conservation groups, resource professionals, landowners, educators, local communities, Indigenous Peoples, governments, and universities.” Learn more about their mission here.
Beyond the paper, the tiny capsules that coat each sheet of REIMAGE are made of naturally based, organic solvents.

The importance of sustainability
Consumers and organizations have grown increasingly interested in reducing their impact on the environment. With growing concerns about the health of our planet, the demand for sustainable goods continues to rise year over year. Indeed, Simon-Kucher & Partners’ Global Sustainability Study 2022 states, “Globally, 89 percent of those surveyed indicated that their purchasing behavior and choices shifted towards buying more environmentally sustainable products over the past 5 years.”
We’ve seen this same interest in survey responses and conversations with our own customers. For RELYCO, one of the key pillars of our vision is to focus on continuously minimizing our impact on the environment.
One of our related goals involves being more transparent about our products by providing detailed explanations for any generalized “green” language we may use due to space constraints. We hope you found this blog helpful to learn more about REIMAGE carbonless laser paper!
