Pressure seal forms are one page, self-mailing documents that use pressure-activated cohesive to seal, eliminating the need for an envelope. You print the form on a laser printer, then a folder/sealer machine folds it to align the cohesive and sealing rollers create a secure bond. Pressure seal forms offer a more cost-effective and time-saving solution while having strong security and high open rates. Common uses include a pressure seal check, utility bills, invoices, tax forms, statements, PIN notices, test results and marketing pieces.

To print on waterproof synthetic paper, use a compatible printer and the right settings. Check that your dry toner laser, offset or flexo printer can handle the paper’s weight and heat, then test with samples. Choose a media setting that matches the paper weight; aim for lower heat, slower speed and a straight paper path or use a synthetic paper setting if available. For best results, let sheets acclimate for 24 hours, fan edges to reduce static and store unused paper in its box.

Choose waterproof synthetic paper because it costs less, saves time and lasts longer then lamination. Lamination is only water-resistant and can crack or peel over time, while synthetic paper is waterproof and tear-proof, chemical- and fade-resistant. It prints cleanly on dry-toner laser printers and can be folded or die-cut in many sizes and colors. This makes it a versatile choice for menus, signs, ID cards, maps, labels, manuals, permits and more.

Sticky or dirty menus turn guests off, harbor germs and lead to damaging online reviews. Reprinting paper menus is wasteful, while lamination can look cheap and is time-consuming and costly. Keep restaurant customers happy with washable, waterproof synthetic paper menus that can be sanitized. For best results, clean with a mild cleanser, avoid harsh chemicals or stacking menus while wet and consider UV coating for extra protection.
